HALF-DEMON HALF-ANGEL. From the joining of an Angel and Demon, this Half-Breed is created. They may either have equal powers from either parent, or have more ability from one side than the other. A huge weakness for this species are the wings. The wings, more usually a mix of the Angels wings and the Demons, do not morph back into the body as easily as they would for a Full-Blood. The individual will more than likely have two large scars down the sides of their back from the wings. Also, the younger the individual, the less control over their power and wings. Because the mixing of Demon and Angel blood-these bloodtypes being complete polar opposites, this Half-Breed species is prone to suddenly becoming ill due to any abrupt change, stress for example, usually this is a high fever, vomiting-sometimes blood, and extreme weakness.

[ABILITIES/SPECIAL POWERS]

IN MINA'S case, most, if not all, her powers come from her Mothers side-The Demon side. She can control shadows, and like her mother, has the power of Dark Flames, these flames are usually a sort of purple tint, and instead of burning the victim, the flames are the coldest-cold anyone could ever feel. At their most powerful-which is difficult for even a full demon, they drain all heat from the victim, killing them slowly, leaving them in a cold, withered corpse like state. At the moment the worst Mina can do is weaken her enemy with her flames by freezing their joints, in attempt to lock them up, slowing the enemy down. Mina can also speak to and summon other demons, though at her most powerful she can only summon two, and they are not insanely powerful, they are more likely to be for protection. She has enhanced strength, stamina, and healing, along with immortality, though of course she can be killed, when she hits a certain age, she will remain that way until someones destroys her, or the end of days. Though it is difficult she may invade the dreams and nightmares of others. Being part demon, she may also have control over the soul of another, only if it is willingly signed over through a contract. The only power she has from her Father, the Angel, is Flight.

[HISTORY]

THE SERAPH AND THE SEDUCTRESS, these were Mina's parents. Her father was a Seraph Angel by the name of Tomas, her mother a Demon by the name of Laylee. They both happened to be on Earth, they both happened to meet one darkened night, they both happened to know a lovely Inn down the street...
Most would blame Laylee for the sinful night-you must remember though, there are the cases of Angels, seducing human women-Not all angels are good-Tomas was just as much to blame as Laylee was. The morning after their tryst, they both knew, they knew Laylee was pregnant. As the child was partially Demon, it was only five months later that Mina was brought into the world. Laylee thoroughly believed Tomas would not leave them, he was still an Angel, and Mina's father. Laylee was right, Tomas didn't leave, instead he killed her...
It was quite the betrayal. Mina lay asleep in her crib, as Tomas lopped of Laylee's head, and tore out her heart. The screams awoke the slumbering infant, and she refused to go back to sleep for the rest of the night.
And so, Tomas raised his child alone. Mina looked just like her mother, the outward appearance of a demon, yet she truly acted as pure, innocent and delicate as any Angel cliche. Tomas hated her in ways, resented her existence. Everyday he was reminded of Laylee, he was reminded of the mistake, reminded of how he could not return to heaven for at least 18 human years as he raised her. Seeing as he would be trapped in the physical world for so long, he decided to make something, useful, of his time. Bringing out the angel side of Mina, while beating out the demon side.
He did not allow her to go to any regular school, and taught her himself in their home. All his lessons revolved around that of Biblical teachings. Mina was forced to start memorizing the bible as she hit schoolage, if she got anything wrong-some recitation, quote or answer, she was punished for it, just as she would be punished for asking questions about Laylee, or using her Demonic powers-though this was usually just an accident. Perhaps it was a good thing Tomas forced her to have nothing but long sleeves, neck to ankle length dresses-it covered the bruises.
As she grew older, Mina came into her powers, to Tomas's despair, the only thing she had inherited from him, was her wings, and they weren't even white. This of course, enraged him, but Mina was growing up, and she started to realize how wrong Tomas was in hurting her. Her inner demon told her to kill him, slit is throat in the night, and end all of it. She wouldn't, and didn't. At the age of 15, in the dark of the night, Mina packed her essentials, and ran away. She never saw Tomas again, though when she met the real world, she sometimes missed the twisted safety of her home.
Most people didn't associate with the young girl, put off by her appearance, though she was respectful and polite. Being so young, it was hard for her to find any sort of job, and so sometimes she would sleep in shelters, though mostly she slept in the park, she found the outside air comforting. During dark, lonely nights, was when Mina met other demons. They knew she was a Half-Breed, perhaps if she had been anything other than Half-Angel, they would've left her alone, but they didn't. They pushed her around, called her names, pulled her hair, just like schoolyard bullies, of course the bullying turned more to brawling as every birthday passed.
Mina, 17 now, avoids other Demons and Angels alike, though sometimes a run-in cannot be helped. She finally found a job at a specialty store, Crow's Corner, who's unique stock seems to fit her quite well. She now lives alone in a small apartment just down the street from Crow's Corner.

[PERSONALITY]

MINA IS a shy, quiet girl. The reason for her shy, almost nervous nature, is that she's never had great experiences with people. She's respectful and polite, and though appears a dark creature, is a happy girl. She's bright and intelligent. If you get close enough to her, she will not be shy or nervous with you, though with this fact she may be seen as naïve , as she trusts easily, and she may let people get close to her too easily, with the hope they are what they appear to be. Having gone through much abuse makes her a bit skittish, though she enjoys horror, she can sometimes scare quite easily. Despite all of this though, she is not a weak little girl, she's strong and fights for herself and others. If you pick a fight with her, she will fight back, she doesn't take kindly to people tormenting her or others.

[APPEARANCE]

HER HAIR is a dark brown, and it falls in waves and almost curls down to her lower back. She does not enjoy wearing it up unless she has to. Her eyes are pools of bright hazel, with tints of red from her Mother's genes, and her lips are pale pink rose petals. With such a pale complexion, some might think she is sick, as her skin sometimes appears to be just white, and to the touch is quite cold. She's only 5'2", and rarely wears heels. The attire she chooses is something more of a Neo-Gothic-Victorian. Though they appear painted, her nails are a permanent black, another trait acquired from her mother. Lastly, the pale skin of her back is scarred by two large, vertical scars, scars from her wings which are black like ravens feathers.
